ATLANTIC BILINGUAL SCHOOL
The Atlantic Bilingual
School is a private, Christian school located in Puerto Cortes,
Honduras. Our Elementary and Middle school curriculum is followed in
accordance with Unite States of America's schools. And our school
year follows the traditional American school calendar, August-June.
Our classrooms range from pre-kindergarten - 9th grade,
servicing 22-26  students per classroom. In addition
to the 16 classrooms, we recently built a soccer/ basketball court,
playground, and cafeteria.
Our school has an enrollment of around 415
students with a staff of 40 people. Most of our staff
are bilingual, and our classes are administered in
English
The
Atlantic Bilingual School elementary curriculum includes
teaching Mathematics, Reading, Science, English, (phonic/spelling ),
Drawing, Music and Penmanship.
Our Middle school
curriculum includes teaching: PreAlgebra, Algebra I, Algebra II,
World Geography, Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science,
Literature, Language and Reading.
Additional classes
provided to our students by special teachers include Computer
(FutureKids program), P.E., Religion, Arts, Spanish, Honduras
Civics, and Social Studies.
